Rev. Fr. Genaro Diwa, SLL, Minister for Liturgical Affairs of the Archdiocese of Manila gave his inspirational message and said something about his roots who were from Balanga, Bataan.
The Very Rev. Fr. Boyd Sulpico, OP, gave his welcome address.
We are better equipped to see the highs and lows of Bataan’s four-hundred-year-old faith journey. Heritage becomes an excellent mirror to gauge how faithfully the Christians of Bataan have prepared, and are preparing for, the Kingdom of God. Making the way of the Word, in words and deeds, is the least we can do as a response to the legacy of Thomas and Simon Pinpin. -Prof. Regalado Trota Jose
